Banker Roundtable: Supporting Environmental Resilience in Florida

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta are hosting a webinar on April 17, 2024, to promote community development partnerships.

The goal of the event is to inform bankers about environmental impacts from brownfields, natural disasters, and other climate-related events on low- and moderate-income communities. The event will highlight programs and partnerships that support resilience through equitable community development.

Representatives from the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta will discuss the bank’s recent research on environmental impacts in low- to moderate-income communities. Representatives of community organizations and community development financial institutions from around Florida will discuss their organizations’ programs and partnership opportunities. Representatives of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency will provide an overview of how the Community Reinvestment Act regulations treat bank activities supporting environmental resilience.

Invited attendees will include bankers and leaders of nonprofit and other organizations that serve low- to moderate-income communities in Florida.
