WASHINGTON – The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) today announced the appointment of Jacquelyn Fletcher as the agency’s new Chief Information Officer. In her new position, she will supervise the agency’s information technology programs, including telecommunications, systems development and technology security policy. Mrs. Fletcher will oversee a staff of 153 along with 200 contractors nationwide and will serve on the OCC’s Executive Committee.
“Mrs. Fletcher is a seasoned professional in the information technology field and we look forward to her leadership in this very important and challenging area of the OCC’s operations,” said Comptroller Hawke.
Mrs. Fletcher has been Associate Director and Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Mint since 1998. She was Assistant Director for the Office of Automated Information Systems at the U.S. Mint from 1995 to 1998.
Mrs. Fletcher is a graduate of the Executive Education Program at the National Defense University, Washington, D.C. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Information Management Systems.
