OCC Releases CRA Evaluations For 30 National Banks

WASHINGTON — The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) today released a list of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance evaluations that became public during the period of April 15, 2010 through May 14, 2010. The list contains only national banks and insured federal branches of foreign banks that have received ratings. The possible ratings are outstanding, satisfactory, needs to improve, and substantial noncompliance.

Of the 30 evaluations made public this month, 2 were outstanding, 27 were satisfactory, one was needs to improve and none was substantial noncompliance.

Evaluations are available from links on http://www.occ.treas.gov/static/cra/may10.html. The OCC's Website (www.occ.gov) also offers access to a searchable list of all public CRA evaluations (www.occ.treas.gov/cra/crasrch.htm). Copies of the actual evaluations may be obtained by submitting a request electronically through the OCC's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Website at https://foia-pal.occ.gov/palMain.aspx .
