WASHINGTON—Officials from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency today testified on the OCC's oversight of JPMC as it relates to the bank's $6 billion in trading losses from its credit derivatives trades in its Chief Investment Office during a hearing held today by the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Officials testifying from the OCC included Comptroller of the Currency Thomas J. Curry, Deputy Comptroller for Risk Analysis Michael Sullivan, and Scott Waterhouse, the OCC's Examiner-in-Charge for JPMorgan Chase, N.A.
