Patricia Grady is Deputy Chief Counsel at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
As Deputy Chief Counsel, Ms. Grady has responsibility for significant legal, policy, and administrative issues, focused primarily on enforcement, litigation, and internal agency matters. She assumed this role in August 2022.
Ms. Grady previously served as the Director in Administrative and Internal Law where she provided strategic and legal advice to the Chief Counsel and executives on management and operational matters.
Ms. Grady joined the OCC in 1992 as an attorney in the Legislative and Regulatory Activities group. She has served as Assistant Director and as Senior Counsel in Administrative and Internal Law where she provided advice and assistance on a range of legal and policy matters including implementation of Title III of Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, operational matters of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, and coordination with other banking regulators.
Ms. Grady received her juris doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and her undergraduate degree in Finance from Virginia Tech.
