Retail Credit Risk Analysis Division

Natalie Tiernan is a lead modeling expert in the Retail Credit Risk Analysis Division within Supervision Risk & Analysis at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). At the OCC, Dr. Tiernan specializes in the evaluation of retail credit risk models and serves as an advisor on topics related to model risk management and emerging retail credit risks.

Dr. Tiernan's research interests include banking and regulation, quantitative macroeconomics, consumer finance, and real estate economics. She holds a doctorate in economics from Georgetown University and a bachelor of science in business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
