Simpson Zhang

Market Risk Analysis Division

Simpson Zhang is a Senior Financial Economist in the Market Risk Analysis Division within Supervision Risk & Analysis at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). His research interests include network science, information economics, banking theory, and machine learning. Prior to joining the OCC in 2018, Dr. Zhang was a researcher at the Office of Financial Research in the U.S. Department of Treasury. Dr. Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Economics from UCLA.
