The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco are sponsoring this roundtable. The purpose of this roundtable is to promote access to capital and savings among tribal and non-tribal small businesses and individuals in Salem, Ore. The roundtable will focus on community development activities that result in increased access to capital and business consulting services for tribal small businesses, as well as access to insured consumer deposit accounts via Individual Development Accounts and Baby Bonds. The facilitated discussions will also highlight actionable steps banks can take to increase partnership opportunities with community-based organizations, community development financial institutions, and municipal service providers.
