WASHINGTON—Comptroller of the Currency Joseph M. Otting today discussed efforts to implement reforms to ensure banks operate in a safe, sound, and fair manner as well as work to promote diversity within the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the federal banking system.
During testimony before the House Financial Services Committee, the Comptroller also discussed implementation of the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act of 2018, the condition of the federal banking system, and risks the agency is monitoring.
