Community Engagement

The External Outreach and Minority Affairs (EOMA) division conducts outreach activities through its participation, coordination, and execution of conferences, roundtables and seminars for Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs) and minority community organizations. EOMA collects and distributes information from these gatherings, and shares key matters of interest to minority communities and MDIs with OCC senior executives and managers.

EOMA's role within the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) also includes activities to expand technical assistance and training activities for MDIs. This type of engagement coordinates with organizations and financial institutions interested with improving fair access to banking services in low-to-moderate income and minority communities. For OCC's presence at your event, please contact EOMA with details.
